The Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Hon. Hajia Zainab Ahmed today visited Edo State SEEFOR with a team of National Project Coordinating Unit(NPCU) led by the National Project Coordinator SEEFOR/Director Macroeconomics Analysis(MBNP), Mr Tunde Lawal.

The visit is in fulfilment of the NPCU’s coordination and supervision of SEEFOR Projects which includes monitoring and evaluation of the critical, high profile sub-projects of Sub-component A1(Public Works) , A2(TVET) and A3(CDD) of the SEEFOR projects, Seek advocacy for political buy-ins, Interact with Chief executives of the State on need for prompt payment of Government Counterpart Cash Contribution(GCCC), Provide high level support to expedite implementation of PFM reforms and lastly to discuss sustainability measures towards institutionalisation of SEEFOR Project initiatives across the Sub-components by the SEEFOR Projects.

The Hon. Minister (MBNP) and the team led by the Edo SEEFOR Project Coordinator, Mr. Toju Onaiwu, along with the Permanent Secretary of Budget Edo State, Mrs. Vera Obadan, some Edo State Government officials, Edo State CSDP and FADAMA officials visited some on-going sub-projects of Sub-component A3, Community Driven Development(CDD); where she made a donation of a large screen TV among others to Evborhan/Oka-Useni community as a result of their outstanding dedication to their on-going micro project(A Civic Centre).

She also commended the Edo SEEFOR Project Coordinator and The Edo State Government for prompt and impressive implementation of projects during her courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu.
